Colleagues: I am pleased to announce that our new Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, Vikash Lakhani, joined our campus community full time on November 4, 2013. Vikash came to HSU from CSU Bakersfield, where he served as the Executive Director for Enrollment Management. In addition to his contributions to student retention and early alert initiatives, Vikash brings extensive experience in strategic planning, domestic and international student recruitment, campus outreach, grant funded program development, college readiness, and customer service.  As Associate Vice President, he will have responsibility for our Admissions Office, New Student Orientation, Financial Aid Office, and the Registrar's Office. Vikash is also responsible for the Student Academic Services Outreach Program (SASOP), the  Educational Talent Search (ETS) and Upward Bound (UB) TRiO Programs, and our Early Assessment Program (EAP).

I am excited that Vikash has joined us, and look forward to his leadership in our enrollment management efforts. Please join me in welcoming Vikash to campus.
