In order to promote and share online events, HSU has created the “Virtual Quad.” 

This is a place to share HSU-related virtual gatherings, including lectures, club activities, performances, and more. Please help the campus community stay connected by sharing your activities. It’s one way we can all continue to learn and have fun.

The Virtual Quad will utilize the 25Live reservation platform, which is used for space reservation and posting events on the campus calendar. See full instructions on adding an online event to 25Live, including screenshots, here. If you already submitted a 25Live event, and it’s transitioning online, the original submitter can edit the event’s location to “online”, and it will continue to appear.

Events will be reviewed and posted to the HSU events calendar at humboldt.edu/events. A rotating selection will be featured on that site and shared via HSU social media platforms. 

HSU will be also using its primary social media platforms to promote Virtual Quad events. If you want your event shared on Facebook, create a Facebook Event for it and add @HumboldtState as a co-host. Provide an image and image caption for the event. For accessibility, if you're using a poster as your graphic, please transcribe that poster's text for the image's alt-text.
