Telecommunications & Network Services is working to repair a campus-wide phone outage that began late last night. The outage resulted from a malfunction on the main phone switch.

Most on-campus callers can make inbound and outbound calls, but cannot receive calls from off-campus. Telecommunications & Network Services is working to repair the issue and anticipates full phone service will be restored by this evening.

Staff and faculty are encouraged to communicate through campus email while the issue is resolved. For a directory of campus email addresses, visit humboldt.edu/directory.

As a result of the phone outage, the University Police Department’s Live Scan service will be down until Monday, July 13.
