This afternoon, many campus Windows computers began rebooting and getting stuck on a black screen, leaving people unable to log in.

Information Technology Services has identified the cause of the problem, which was a misconfigured setting. We have changed the setting and are working on a solution to correct the problem on individual computers. 

If you are experiencing this issue, please email help@humboldt.edu or call 707-826-4357 with your contact info, s-tag number (property tag), and location of the computer so we can schedule a technician once a repair is available.
