A new HSU website provides up-to-date information and resources about a possible faculty strike. It is at www.humboldt.edu/strikeinfo and a link has been added halfway down the University’s homepage.

The new website includes the latest updates from both the CSU Chancellor’s Office and Humboldt State University. Because faculty contracts are negotiated at the state level, updates on negotiations and related issues are provided by CSU. The 23 campuses, including HSU, are providing information about local operations.

The CSU and the faculty union, the California Faculty Association, are currently negotiating regarding salary and have been unable to reach agreement. The CFA has announced dates for a potential strike April 13-15 and 18-19.

During any strike, the campus will remain open and student services will continue to be provided.
