In light of the recent public health developments and out of concern for the safety of our community, Fall Welcome has been changed to a virtual-only event. Plan to join us for the 2021 Virtual Fall Welcome on Thursday, August 19 from 9–10:15 a.m. We are excited to kick off the 2021-22 Academic Year with you! 

Join President Tom Jackson, Jr., Provost Jenn Capps, and Associated Students President Jeremiah Finley as they welcome back our HSU community, acknowledge new faculty and staff, share accomplishments and stories of perseverance from the past year, and highlight important opportunities ahead. 

Fall Welcome will broadcast on Thursday, August 19 at 9 a.m. and can be accessed on the President’s Office website the morning of the event. We hope you can join us!

In addition, the HSU Family Picnic has been postponed until we are able to safely hold large events in person. Look for more information about the picnic to come at a later date.
