Update on Windows computer problems: Next steps
Following yesterday’s computer problems, your ITS team has been all over campus repairing computers. We estimate that we have fixed approximately 75% of reported computers and want to provide you an update of what you can do based on your location. If your computer is stuck on a black boot screen and you are…
On campus or an expanded campus site: If you’ve already called or emailed to report, we’re coming and will get to you as soon as we can! If you haven’t reported it, please email help@humboldt.edu or call 707-826-4357 with your contact info, s-tag number (property tag), and location of the computer so we can schedule a technician once a repair is available.
Off campus and can come to campus: Please come to the Help Desk on the first floor of the Library. We’ll have technicians standing by to fix your laptop in just a few minutes.
Off campus and you cannot come to campus: We are still working on a solution for remote computers. If you haven’t already emailed help@humboldt.edu with your s-tag number, please do so, and let us know that you are not able to come to campus.
Updates about all technology issues can be found at its.humboldt.edu/systat.
