Technology Available for Students

Dear Faculty & Staff,

We want to ensure every student has a computer and internet access* to succeed in your classes. Would you be willing to check in with your students to see if anyone doesn't have these things?

We have some Chromebooks and hotspots (for those without internet), as well as headphones and webcams and more on the way. Have students request them here

If you as a faculty or staff member lack technology, please let us know by emailing help@humboldt.edu so we can find a solution.

*We know that internet access can be spotty, even for those of us with really "great" service. We have a few tips for using Zoom with slow internet connections. Unfortunately, we must reserve hotspots for those who don't otherwise have internet. We're working with rural students to get them funds and local internet service.
