Symposium and Proposal Formats

Poster Presentation - Open session highlighting inspiring, innovative, and/or impactful work around teaching and learning practice, research, and vision.

Lightning Talk - Dynamic five-minute presentation focused on one idea, story, or practice.  For the audience, the lightning talk is an opportunity to find inspiration. For those giving a lighting talk, it is a thought seed that attracts people to a follow-up roundtable that you will host. Lightning Talk Tips

Roundtable (30-minute) - A facilitated conversation on a wide range of teaching and learning topics. It is an opportunity to dive a little deeper into topics to envision new ideas, approaches, and actions.

NOTE: Proposals are accepted for lighting talks and/or roundtable discussions.  

We hope that sessions addressing this theme will consider the questions:

• What inspires you as an educator?

• What are some ways that you inspire students to think differently?

• Where do you see examples of inspired student learning in practice?
