This year all necessary onboarding documents will be available from the HR website under Onboarding & Off boarding

While most offices remain virtual, we will only be accepting Bridge hiring paperwork virtually through the Adobe Sign process. This will include all new and returning Bridge appointments.

If you have a newly hired student who did not work in a Bridge appointment last year, they will be required to fill out the entire hiring packet. If you have a returning Bridge student all that is required is an updated EAR and 2021 appointment document.

BRIDGE STUDENT ASSISTANT EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS
Students must be enrolled in the fall 2021 semester for a minimum of 6 units (undergrad) or 4.5 units (grad). Seniors who will be graduating spring 2021 may work one final Bridge appointment for summer 2021 but must be separated by July 31, 2021.

Bridge Student Assistant Employment Enrollment Requirements

• Enrolled for fall semester 2021
• Minimum of 6 units (undergrad) or 4.5 units (grad) to work June 1, 2021 through July 31, 2021.

Student Assistant Employment Enrollment Requirements

• Enrolled for fall semester 2021
• First day to begin work in this category is August 1, 2021.

The employing department is responsible for making sure the correct hiring paperwork is submitted to HR. Students cannot begin working and pay cannot be requested until the sign up process is completed.

Once again, there will be no summer work-study program offered. Students with federal work-study awards for the spring 2021 term may work through May 15.

All May work study time vouchers must be received in Payroll by 5pm Wednesday, May 19 and any late vouchers will be processed as Student Assistants.
