Staffing Needed for Commencement

April 22, 2022

Commencement is rapidly approaching—a day all about the graduates and their proud parents and families. Staff plays an important role in the success of our students; if you want to be involved on this special day, work may be available for you performing a variety of Commencement-related activities. Food will be provided for support staff working the event.

The President has approved CTO, schedule adjustments, or overtime for those willing to help during the Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 14. Supervisors, if staff from your area can be assigned to work during Commencement without disrupting the operations of your unit, please invite them to contact Kristen Gould or Stephanie Lane, the Commencement co-coordinators, at the contact info below.

Additional staff members are needed to work one, two, or all three ceremonies. Staff who are able to work on Saturday are asked to make arrangements with their supervisor and contact Kristen or Stephanie or fill out this form no later than April 29. When emailing, please indicate which shift you can work:

  • CAHSS at 8:30 a.m. (7:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. shift)
  • CNRS at 12:30 p.m. (10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. shift)
  • CPS at 3:30 p.m. (2:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. shift)
  • Or, available whenever needed

Interested staff will be accepted to work during Commencement on a first-come basis and your final assignment will be shared during the week of the event.

Supervisors and/or Managers with any questions on how to administer CTO, schedule adjustments, or overtime for Commencement should contact the Human Resources Department.

Thank you for all you do to help our students achieve this major goal in their lives!
