Staff and Faculty Compliance Courses Due on December 31, 2020

As we close the calendar year, HSU must ensure that any overdue mandatory training is completed by the end of the year. 
Specifically:
  • CSU’s Sexual Misconduct Prevention Program (Title IX) training – mandated by Executive Orders 1096/1097 must be completed by all employees every year.
  • Preventing Discrimination and Harassment for Non-Supervisors – mandated by CA Gov. Code §12950 and CSU Executive Orders 1096/1097 and must be completed by all non-supervisory employees every year.
  • Supervisor: Anti-Harassment, Discrimination, Retaliation - mandated by CA Gov. Code §12950 and CSU Executive Orders 1096/1097 and must be completed by all supervisory employees every other year.
  • Avoiding Conflicts of Interest (COI) – mandated by CA Gov. Code 81000, et seq by all employees in designated positions and must be completed every other year
The Office of Human Resources will continue providing Divisional Mandatory Training Overdue lists to be disseminated to each Appropriate Administrator who has employees needing to complete their training before the winter break. The campus completion % will be part of President Jackson’s campus performance evaluation. As a reminder, these training are legally mandated and must be completed as soon as possible.
