SSS program at HSU has been awarded through 2020

July 20, 2015

A message from Dan Saveliff:

I am happy to report that our Student Support Services TRIO proposal was successful, and we have been awarded $373,378 annually, renewable for 5-years for a total of $1.87 million to HSU.

The SSS program at HSU has served low-income and first-generation students continuously for the past 44 years, and with this award, will continue that support through the 45th and 50th anniversary of the program at Humboldt.

Our continued success in obtaining this award is largely based upon our prior year accomplishments in meeting our program objectives.  I'd like to acknowledge the hard work of our SSS and EOP staff who jointly provide the high quality services and support that help our students reach their goals, which will now continue through 2020.
