Removal of $2,000 VP Approval

Dear Campus Community,

In 2018 the decision was made to run all General Fund travel expenditures and other expenditures of $2,000 or more by the appropriate Vice President for approval in an effort to take immediate steps in addressing our University’s deficit. Although the University continues to face reductions, effective immediately it will no longer be a requirement to obtain approval on expenditures of $2,000 or more from the appropriate  Vice President. While we take this step towards this efficiency, we must remain mindful of our expenditures and ensure we continue to be good stewards of both taxpayer and student fees.
