Recommendations of the Gender Inclusive Restroom (GIRR) Task Force are now available for viewing at https://facilitymgmt.humboldt.edu/gender-inclusive-restroom-task-force. The GIRR was established in spring 2019 out of a student initiative to increase gender-inclusive restrooms on HSU’s campus. The recommendations include the construction of new restrooms and the conversion of existing select men’s and women's restrooms to gender-inclusive. The GIRR plans to take the recommendations to the University Space and Facilities Advisory Committee (USFAC), a subcommittee to the URPC (University Resources and Planning Committee), in the Spring of 2020 for incorporation into the Campus Facilities Master Plan.

At this time, we are soliciting feedback from the campus community through February 28, 2020.  The link above will take you to the feedback form.  You can also submit comments via email to GirrTaskForce@humboldt.edu. Your input will be considered in finalizing the recommendations. Your input will remain confidential and will be destroyed once the recommendations are finalized.
