The search committee and Provost Jenn Capps invite you to attend Open Forums for each of the three candidates for the position of AVP/CDO.

Reporting to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, the incoming Associate Vice President and Campus Diversity Officer (AVP/CDO) will play a strategic and crucial university wide role by providing support, organization and education to foster and promote a campus culture that minimizes bias and recognizes and addresses systemic inequities.

Each candidate was asked to create a 20-minute presentation on the following: 

Given what you know about public universities, what do you see as some of the opportunities and challenges that you might face as the AVP for DEI at Humboldt State University? 

Afterwards there will be time for Q&A.
