Humboldt State University is in the final stages of the search process for its next Vice President for Administration & Finance/CFO. The University will host virtual open forums for four finalists who have been selected by the Search Committee. 

Facilitated by members of the search committee, the forums are opportunities for the campus community to hear from the candidates, ask them questions, and learn more about their approaches to leadership.

Shahrooz Roohparvar (resume)

Shahrooz Roohparvar is currently the Vice President of Finance & Administrative Services at Arizona Western College in Yuma, Arizona. He previously served as the Chief  Financial  Officer at the Milan Institute, and the Controller and Director of the Business Office at Unitek College/Unitek Education. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of  California, Santa Cruz in Business Management Economics, a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of La Verne, and is currently pursuing an Education Doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of  Southern California (Expected 2022).

The Search Committee encourages faculty, staff, students, and administrators to attend the open forums. If you are unable to participate in a live session, the forums will be recorded. Candidate information and registration links will also be available on the website the morning of each event. Information about providing feedback and recordings of the sessions will be available on the website once all the forums are completed.
