As a reminder, Humboldt State University is hosting a virtual campus forum for Dr. DeBrenna LaFa Agbényiga, one of four candidates for Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Dr. Agbényiga most recently served as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Bowie State University. Prior to this, Dr. Agbényiga served as vice provost and dean of the graduate school at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina, Columbia and her M.S.W. in Urban Studies from Michigan State University. She went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Social Science with an emphasis in Social Work and Family Health from Michigan State University. She also completed an executive M.B.A. in Strategic Management from Michigan State.
