Presentations on Campus Workplace Survey

January 21, 2020

In Spring 2019, HSU faculty, staff, and administrators participated in the Great Colleges to Work For program, a national survey designed to inform institutions about their work culture and recognize those that have built great workplaces.

Across the fifteen dimensions in which the sixty statements are grouped, participants were:

  • Most positive about supervisors and department chairs; compensation, benefits, and work-life balance; pride in the university; and overall job satisfaction.
  • Least positive about senior leadership and relationships among faculty, administration, and staff.

Associate Vice President Lisa Castellino, of Institutional Effectiveness, will hold two presentations (one faculty focused, one staff focused) going into more detail on these takeaways, and discussing how HSU can use this information moving forward.

Faculty: 1-3 p.m., Jan. 24, Goodwin Forum (NHE 102)
Staff: 9:30-11:30 a.m., Feb. 4, Goodwin Forum (NHE 102)
