Do you have students who are known by a name other than their legal name? In support of this, ITS is working to expand the use of preferred names in University systems where legally allowable. Students are now able to set a preferred first and/or middle name in Student Center, which will be displayed to faculty in Moodle courses as well as Class and Grade Rosters. Over time, this support will be extended to more systems, so watch for future announcements.
