In October 2020, the ITS Department, in coordination with our CMS Chancellor's Office team will deploy PeopleSoft updates to both the CS and HR PeopleSoft production systems bringing both up to the same level. This means some functions will not be available starting 4 pm on Friday, October 16 through Sunday, October 18, 2020. DARS will be unavailable starting 4 pm on Friday, October 16; Canvas will be available but will not be refreshed with updates after 1 pm on Friday, October 16. All systems will be fully operational by 8 am on Monday, October 19.

Because this outage overlaps the end date for Benefits Open Enrollment, you must have all your final benefit changes submitted by 5 pm on Friday, October 16. This will allow processing by the Benefits team prior to the shutdown of the HR production system on Friday, October 16 to start the upgrade.

This upgrade does not appear to have significant changes, to either of our PeopleSoft production systems, from the current version campus is using today.
