The University will be hosting the U.S. Coast Guard at the G11 parking lot across from Student & Business Services on Saturday, April 20.

Weather permitting, the Coast Guard is scheduled to land a helicopter in the parking lot at approximately 11 a.m. 

As a result, starting at midnight until early afternoon this Saturday, the eastern portion of the lot and Rossow Street (from Harpst Street to the Parking Kiosk in front of the Student & Business Services) will be closed to parking and traffic. G11 will still be accessible from LK Wood.

 The event is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by Cal Poly Humboldt’s Aviation Club, which aims to lower barriers for students interested in aviation.
