Open Forums: VP for Administration & Finance
Dear Lumberjacks,
We are pleased to share that, as part of the search for the Vice President for Administration & Finance/Chief Financial Officer, we will be hosting open forums with finalist candidates on April 23 and 24.
Each candidate will participate in an open forum consisting of a brief presentation followed by a question-and-answer session. These forums provide an important opportunity for our campus community to engage with candidates and contribute to the search process.
Candidate: Michael Fisher
Thursday, April 23, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Goodwin Forum (Nelson Hall East, Room 102)
Candidate: Susan Wheet
Friday, April 24, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Goodwin Forum (Nelson Hall East, Room 102)
We invite you to submit questions in advance to help inform the discussions and there will also be an opportunity to ask questions live during each forum. To support a fair and equitable process for all candidates, please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Ask questions that are relevant to the position’s duties and responsibilities.
- Avoid questions related to personal topics or protected characteristics (e.g., age, family status, health, etc.).
- Do not request or encourage sharing of information unrelated to the role.
- Be respectful of time so all attendees have an opportunity to participate.
An HR representative will be present to help facilitate the discussion and may redirect questions as needed.
Questions may be submitted using this link.
We strongly encourage students, staff and faculty to attend these sessions and participate in this important process. Your engagement and feedback are vital as we identify the next leader for this key role.
Thank you for your time and involvement.
