The search committee and interim VP Sherie Gordon invite you to attend Open Forums as part of an internal search for the HSU Director of Risk Management.

Under the direction of the Vice President of Administration and Finance, the Director of Risk Management provides strong leadership and management of Risk Management, Environmental Health and Safety, Emergency Management, Insurance, Workers Compensation and Business Continuity Planning functions of the University.

Each candidate was asked to create a 15-20-minute presentation on the following: Please describe your background and experience and how it has positioned you for success as our next Director of Risk Management. Please present your vision for Risk Management and Safety Services at Humboldt State University. How will you lead and engage the campus in this work? What are the University’s biggest challenges and opportunities as we look ahead to the next 5-10 years?
