The CSU annual Open Enrollment period for 2022 will be September 19, 2022 through October 14, 2022. Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to review and update your current benefits for the 2023 calendar year. You can enroll, change, or cancel CalPERS health, dental, vision or Flexcash plans, enroll for the first time or re-enroll in Dependent Care Reimbursement (DCRA), Health Care Reimbursement (HCRA) or voluntary benefit plans. The effective date for all changes/enrollments made during the Open Enrollment period will be January 1, 2023.

To make Open Enrollment changes, log into MyHumboldt, and click the Open Enrollment: September 19 – October 14  linkClick the ‘Select’ button next to your name and follow the prompts to make changes.   Please see our Open Enrollment eBenefits Guide for more information on how to make open enrollment changes in eBenefits.

***If you are making no changes to your current health, dental, vision or voluntary plans, you do not need to do anything during Open Enrollment. Your plans will automatically continue for the upcoming plan year (excluding any HCRA/DCRA elections – you will need to re-enroll for 2023 if you wish to have continued deductions).

Plan options and level of coverage will remain the same for 2023, please refer to the below linked rate sheet to view premium changes.   Please also refer to the resources linked below for comprehensive information about open enrollment and your benefit options.

Important Things to Remember/Review:

  • The 2023 Health Premiums Rate sheet-  monthly premiums for each health plan

  • HCRA/DCRA plans DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY ROLL FORWARD – you must re-enroll for 2023 if you would like your enrollment to continue (ASI Flex will send new HCRA enrollees a debit card [two cards will be sent] to be used on reimbursable healthcare expenses, with no additional fee).

  •  HCRA: $2,850 maximum annual contribution ($20/month minimum, $237.50/month maximum)

  •  DCRA: $5,000 maximum annual contribution ($20/month minimum, $416.66/month maximum)

  • To make changes to your vision plan, or enroll into the Premier plan visit http://csuactives.vspforme.com/, or call customer service at 1-800-400-4569. These changes must be completed with VSP directly.  Please note that dependents cannot be split between the Basic and Premier plan.  If you enroll yourself only into Premier (and do not enroll dependents), your dependents will lose all vision coverage.

All open enrollment eBenefits changes must be submitted by 5pm, Friday, October 14, 2022.  At this time, access to the eBenefits system will be closed.
