The Humboldt State University Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion announces the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Grants for 2020-2021.  A total of $30,000 in grants is available for the upcoming Academic Year.

The Diversity & Equity Grant Committee invites HSU students, HSU student organizations, HSU staff, HSU faculty, and HSU underrepresented faculty to submit proposals for programs offered on campus to the university community that raise awareness, deepen understanding, and/or engage the campus community in dialogue about one or more of the multiple dimensions of diversity and equity. Such dimensions of diversity may include – but are not limited to – culture, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and ability. Proposals intended to increase the participation and retention of historically underrepresented students, staff, and faculty in the campus community will be prioritzed.

The guidelines for grant proposals are available at diversity@humboldt.edu.  Proposals will be accepted by the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion online at the email address listed above.  Deadline for submissions is Friday, February 28, 2020.
