ARCATA, Calif.---  Nine members of the Humboldt State University men’s and women’s basketball teams were named to the 2019-20 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Winter All-Academic Team as announced by the conference office today.  The CCAA sponsors men’s and women’s basketball during the winter season.

In order to earn CCAA All-Academic Team honors a student-athlete must:  1.) Be of sophomore athletic standing or higher, and may include graduate students; 2.) Own a 3.3 cumulative grade point average or better, based on the most recently completed term at the time of nomination; and 3.) Have competed in a conference-sponsored sport in that season. 

 A total of 99 men and women from across the CCAA’s 13-member institutions have been honored for their efforts in the classroom for the winter of 2019-20.
