Human Resources is excited to announce the launch of our new Volunteer Request & Inquiry System — using the APEX App, this interface promises a streamlined, user-friendly online platform that replaces the previous AdobeSign process for volunteer submissions.

This upgraded system is designed to make submitting and managing volunteer requests easier than ever. Key improvements include:

• Rapid identification and entry of potential volunteers directly from PeopleSoft = reduced data entry through auto-populated fields

• Faster processing times for approvals

• Color-coded progress tracking to clearly show each step of the process

• Custom sorting options by name or status, allowing you to view multiple volunteers from your department at once

• Integrated workflow and automated email notifications for most statuses

• Real time visibility of the appointment stages

• Integrated training identification

• Bulk upload of volunteer appointment requests

• Bulk approval of volunteer appointment requests

• Visibility of requested volunteers in one interface

• In app background check waiver and minor release form signatures for volunteers

• Automatic notification that volunteer can begin their appointment

With these enhancements, HR aims to make the volunteer approval process more efficient, transparent, and satisfying for everyone involved.
