New Event Form in 25LivePro

The Conference & Event Services (CES) department has been working diligently to create a comprehensive Event Form to help groups coordinate their events on Campus. With the introduction of the Lumberjack Link event form in Fall 2022, the first automated system to capture event information and notify Campus Partners of needs to service these events across our campus was developed. This system also created the first automated review process where groups could have their plans reviewed by relevant campus stakeholders and assessed for approval.

Over the course of the 22-23 academic year, CES helped oversee over 1100 events ensuring coordination of support services and approvals along the way. With our Campus due to grow exponentially in the near future, having an automated system to capture details, make service requests and ensure compliance with Campus policies and procedures, is more important than ever. 

In an effort to meet our campus feedback to condense & simplify the Events process, CES has developed a new event form in 25LivePro, that is already used to schedule spaces. Later this week, CES will be shutting off the Lumberjack Link event form, and will move forward with turning on the new event form in 25LivePro. The first version of the 25LivePro event form is being launched, with plans to improve the process and integrate additional functions into this system as the year progresses. CES will be offering assistance in the way of training documentation, drop-in zoom hours and 1-on-1 or group training opportunities, with much more information to be developed on the CES website soon.

CES will turn off the Lumberjack Link event form on August 4th at 5pm. By Monday, August 7th at 8am, you will find the new event form in place when you log into 25LivePro. All events that have not yet been approved in Lumberjack Link will be expedited through the approval process, or will be transferred over into the new form in 25LlivePro for partners review/ approval in that new system.
