The CSU has issued a new and comprehensive Background Check Policy effective August 3, 2015.  The CSU policy memorandum with attachments (HR 2015-08) can be found at humboldt.edu/hsuhr/recruitment_resources.php.

We anticipate that this new policy will generate many questions.  The Office of Human Resources and Academic Personnel Services is currently revising forms and internal procedures to ensure compliance with the new policy.  Please know that we are available to answer your questions regarding the new background check requirements.  We will also be meeting with individual units and search committees to further discuss these new requirements.
