I am pleased to announce that our new Associate Dean for Student Rights & Responsibilities, Ben Witt, joined our campus community on December 16, 2013. Ben came to HSU from Purdue University, where he served as a Student Affairs Specialist/Title IX Investigator in the Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities. Prior to that, he was the Coordinator of Student Conduct at Central Michigan University.   In addition to his contributions to Student Affairs, he brings expertise in the areas of crisis intervention and threat assessment. As Associate Dean in our Student Rights & Responsibilities office, he will have responsibility for the review and adjudication of student conduct referrals in accordance with the student code of conduct. 

I am excited that Ben has joined us, and look forward to his leadership in our efforts to promote restorative justice and a culture of civility and respect. Please join me in welcoming Ben Witt to campus!
