The campus community is invited to meet Joseph I. Castro, Ph.D., who was appointed to serve as the eighth chancellor of the California State University, during a live broadcast on Friday, Sept. 25 at 11 a.m. - noon.  

The event will be hosted by Monica Lozano, president and CEO of the College Futures Foundation and is a unique opportunity for the CSU’s students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders to learn more about Dr. Castro and his vision for the CSU. 

Castro has served as the eighth president of California State University, Fresno since 2013. He is the first California native and first Mexican American to be appointed to oversee the 23-campus university. Castro will succeed Timothy P.
