Lumberjacks’ Tana Eri and Sabine Postma named to 2020-21 Academic All-District Women’s Soccer Team, selected by CoSIDA

As announced this morning, Humboldt State’s Tana Eri and Sabine Postma have been named to the 2020-21 Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team, selected by CoSIDA. Eri and Postma were selected to the District 8 Team which consists of teams from the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) and The PacWest Conference. 
 
Eri, who graduated this past May, was named to the Department’s Dean’s List both semesters this academic year.  The Kinesiology major, who will finish off her collegiate career this Fall, was named to the 2020-21 CCAA Fall All-Academic Team for the second time during her collegiate career earlier this year.  She started in all 17 matches during the 2019 season while logging 1597 minutes.

 Postma, who graduated this past December, was a three-time CCAA Fall All-Academic Team selection.  She was named Humboldt State’s CCAA Dr. Hal Charnfosky female recipient. In December, the Zoology major was named the CCAA Championship Women’s Soccer Championship Scholar-Athlete.  Postma was the recipient of the 2020-21 Humboldt State Outstanding Student Award for Excellence in Intercollegiate Athletics.

The 2020-21 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the pitch and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-June.
 
The CoSIDA Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages and are divided into geographic districts across the United States and Canada.
 
The Division II and III CoSIDA Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2020-21 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CoSIDA Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
