Pedro Martinez, who has served as the Director of Admissions since June 2019, has stepped down from his position to pursue other professional opportunities. 

Pedro has provided leadership to Admissions through not only inherited enrollment challenges but a global pandemic. Pedro has been a key contributor to Humboldt being on a path to stabilize years of enrollment declines by reimagining our recruitment strategies, visit experience, branding, and outreach efforts. 

Through this transition during a critical time, Peggy Metzger will provide direct oversight of Admissions. The University is fortunate for Peggy’s commitment to continue expanding her service. Peggy will continue spearheading Strategic Enrollment Planning efforts as well.
