Latinx Heritage Month (September 15 through October 15)  kicks off this week with two events:
9/15 El Camino de Comida: An eclectic Career in food and nutrition. NR120 @1PM
Come to Natural Resources 120 and join Kristen Rasmusses, MS, RDN at the La comida nos une for Hispanic Serving Institutions week (HSI).

9/16 Festejando Nuestra Comunidad  - College of the Redwoods  11am-5pm
Festejando Nuestra Comunidad" is a community resource fair and celebration event aimed at promoting unity, culture, and well-being within the local community. The event will feature interactive workshops, cultural performances, and all-age activities focused on fostering community connections and highlighting diverse cultural expressions. Scheduled for September 16th at College of the Redwoods, the event seeks to create an inclusive and engaging environment for attendees to explore various cultural traditions and resources while emphasizing community health, education, and culture.

Festejando Nuestra Comunidad" es una feria de recursos y celebración comunitaria que tiene como objetivo promover la unidad, la cultura y el bienestar dentro de la comunidad local. El evento contará con talleres, actuaciones culturales y actividades centradas en fomentar conexiones comunitarias y resaltar expresiones culturales diversas. Programado para el 16 de septiembre en el campus de College of the Redwoods, el evento busca crear un entorno inclusivo y participativo donde los asistentes puedan explorar diversas tradiciones culturales y recursos mientras se enfatiza la salud, educación, y cultura de la comunidad.
