Facilities Management has scheduled the annual floor refinish of the Lumberjack Arena and the Dance Studio for Friday, June 29 beginning at 8:00 am with an estimated completion date of July 29.

A plastic tunnel will be in place from the Lumberjack Hall of Fame area to the Dance Studio as a measure to keep the refinishing fumes out of the Dance Studio. On July 13, the building will be locked and the HVAC system will be turned off when the finish is applied due to the strong odors of the flooring product. Building occupants with exterior building access will still be able to enter but are encouraged to work offsite it at all possible.

The Kinesiology and Athletics building will remain open during the refinishing project, however, the tunnel will restrict access to the 2nd floor entrance of the Athletic department.
