On Saturday, August 9, from 8 a.m. to noon, the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue teams will conduct K-9 officer training on campus. 

As a result, the campus community can expect to see an increased presence of law enforcement personnel. In the event of an emergency on campus, the University Police Department (UPD) will remain staffed and ready to respond as needed.
