Based on the many changes occurring on campus over the last 4 months, including shifting our two Campus Configuration Administrators (CCAs) to other members of the HR team, the project resources reviewed the progress made to date on the build-out of the CHRS Recruiting system powered by PageUp and the work remaining to get this new system rolled out to our campus community. As recruiting for new resources is always crucial to any university or company, and especially necessary to help us build our future Polytechnic world, the HR and APS departments determined the need to move our go-live from early December 2021 to February 24, 2022.

This will allow the campus to move into the PageUp system with the temp faculty pool, using a ‘just-in-time’ training approach for committees to learn the process as their searches become active rather than training months in advance requiring re-training when an event is kicked-off. Training guides are being developed and will be posted on the HR/APS webpages for easy access, and the HR & APS teams will be ready to support campus with this transition.

With multiple recruitments still active for staff and MPPs in the current system, Interfolio, and more starting to come through for faculty positions, the department discussed the possibility of extending the current contract to allow existing hiring efforts to finalize in the Interfolio tool. This action will allow the team to start fresh in PageUp with new recruitments as of April 5, 2022.
