 Niki Clark

Clark will graduate from John F. Kennedy High School this spring.  She is the daughter of Tomas and Jennifer Clark.  This year, Clark was a Girl’s Academy Team representative.  The two-time team captain was named to the Mission Valley All-League Second Team.  Clark was the Team Most Valuable Player in 2019 and was named to the MVAL All-League Honorable Mention Team.  Clark was an AP Scholar Award recipient in 2020 and has been named to the Principal’s Honor Roll since 2017.  She plays for Palo Alto Soccer Club.

 Landy on Clark

“Niki is a versatile athlete who can play multiple positions for our team.  I see her somewhere down the spine of our team primarily as a defensive center midfield player.  She reads the game well and is solid in distribution.  Niki has a great work ethic and Humboldt is a great fit for her athletic and academic goals.”

 Sarah Hines

The two-time 3A Girls State Player of the year was a nominee for the 2019-20 North Idaho Athletic Hall of Fame.  Hines was a four-time honoree of the All-Intermountain League team in Idaho, including the three-time Intermountain League Most Valuable Player.  During her junior and senior years, she was the recipient of the Knudtsen Chevrolet Athlete of the Week, while during her junior year was awarded the Albertson’s Big Deal of the Week.  Hines was a member of the Honor Roll her freshman through junior years.  She is the daughter of Shane and Keelin Hines.   Hines plays club soccer with the Spokane Sounders.

 Landy on Hines

“Sarah has so much potential at the collegiate level.   She is technically savvy as well as being powerful and explosive.   I see her playing in the midfield to set up our attackers  or up front where she can create her own scoring opportunities.   She’s got a great engine and work ethic.   The sky’s the limit for Sarah and I can’t wait to coach her in the fall.”

 Annie Hoffman

Hoffman was a three-time Best Offensive Player of the Year recipient   She was a 2018 Washington ODP member and three-time All-Conference forward at North Thurston High School.  Hoffman has been a member of the National Honor Society from 2017 to 2019.  She is a three-time recipient of the Athletic Academic Award.  Hoffman is the daughter of Damon Hoffman and Gabrielle Rivoldini.   She plays club soccer with Washington Premier FC after a long career with Blackhills FC.

 Landy on Hoffman

“Annie gives us a prototypical attacker on our front line.  She has great strength and size, as well the pace to create her own scoring opportunities.  Annie is probably most comfortable in the wide areas, but I can also see her as a true target forward.   She has the technical ability with both feet to be productive in distribution and to be dangerous in front of goal.  I have been following Annie’s career for several years and can’t wait to get a chance to coach her this fall.”

 Emma McChristie

McChristie was a member of the 2019 West Coast Classic Championship Team.  The Team Captain was a member of ECNL from 2014-17 and the US Development Academy from 2017-20.  The future Lumberjack was a member of the 2015 National Cup Champions.  In 2017, McChristie’s team reached the 2017 ECNL Regional playoffs and in 2019 they were the West Coast Classic Champions. McChristie has been on the Principal’s Honor Roll every semester during her interscholastic career.  She is the daughter of Mike and Dana McChristie.

 Landy on McChristie

“Emma is a terrific talent who comes to our program after a very successful career with her club team West Coast FC.  I was immediately impressed with Emma by her desire as a midfielder to get into the box and create or finish scoring opportunities.   She gives us a strong, athletic presence in the midfield who can win balls, distribute and score goals.  I am so excited to see Emma’s impact on our program in the fall and in her career here at Humboldt.”

Carson Thomson-Terrel

Thomson-Terrel is a three-year letter-winner at Kelso High School.  She is the daughter of Erik Terrel and Cari Thomson.  In 2019, she earned First Team 3A All-League honors.  During her freshman and sophomore seasons, Thomson-Terrel was named to the 3A All-League Second Team.  She is a two-time Most Valuable Teammate recipient and a three-time Scholar-Athlete Award recipient.  Carson competes in club soccer with Portland Thorns Academy, after a long stint with the Washington Timbers.

 Landy on Thomson-Terrel

“I am thrilled to have Carson join our program.  She is an outstanding goalkeeper who has so much potential at the collegiate level.  Carson has great length, good mobility and is very athletic.  She is also comfortable with the ball at her feet and has good distribution on punts and goal kicks.  I am excited to see the positive impact Carson will have on our team and within the Humboldt community.”
