Housing Move-In is just around the corner, and we are excited to welcome our new students and their families to campus! Our biggest move-in day is Saturday, August 15, 2026, and Housing & Residence Life is committed to providing every student with a warm and memorable Welcome Home to Humboldt experience.

We are seeking volunteers to help make Move-In Day a success. Volunteers will assist as Parking Monitors to direct traffic, guide students and families to check-in locations, help coordinate unloading areas, and provide general wayfinding support throughout the day.

Your participation is an important part of creating a positive first impression for our incoming students and their families. This campus-wide effort would not be possible without the support of dedicated volunteers like you!

To help you prepare, Housing & Residence Life will provide a Move-In training overview during the week of August 12. Lunch will also be provided on Saturday, August 15, for volunteers who work the full day.

If you're interested in volunteering, please complete the Housing Move-In Volunteer Form 2026, and be sure to check with your supervisor that you are able to work that day.
