Optum Rx will be hosting 3 short workshops on different topics concerning health issues; all of which will include free screenings (no fasting required). These workshops will be held in Goodwin Forum (Nelson Hall East room 102) on Thursday March 5, 2020. To enroll, click the workshop titles.

Hypertension 9:00am – 10:00am: Come learn more about this disease and why healthy levels are important. Free blood pressure check and consult with an Optum Rx team member to discuss your number and way to improve, if necessary.

Cholesterol Presentation and Screening 10:00am – 11:00am: This session will cover what cholesterol is, the effects of high cholesterol, and foods that will help & hinder cholesterol levels. Free screening of your own cholesterol levels.

Diabetes Presentation and Glucose Screening 11:00am – 12:00pm: This session will cover the most common myths about diabetes and facts you needs to know. Free screening of your own glucose levels will be available.
