Students, faculty, and staff now have access to a portion of the HSU Library’s physical holdings through HathiTrust. HathiTrust is an online partnership between academic libraries providing access to millions of digitized titles.

Currently, 15,000 titles held by the HSU Library are available online. The great news is  that number will soon increase to over 230,000 titles. To access items through HathiTrust, follow these instructions:

●      Go to the HathiTrust website (https://www.hathitrust.org/) and click on the Log In button in the top right corner.

●      Type Humboldt State University into the “Find your partner institution” search box.

●      You will be prompted to enter your HSU username and password. You can now begin to look for items.

●      Selecting the full-text filter will give you a  list of all titles that you can access.

Additionally, HathiTrust titles will soon be available via OneSearch; look for a link in the catalog record indicating online access.  In the meantime, you can still request physical items from the HSU Library and other CSU Libraries through InterLibrary Loan (ILL) and CSU+.
