Four Humboldt State Student-Athletes Named to 2020-21 NSCA All-American Team

April 23, 2021

Four Humboldt State Lumberjack Student-Athletes were named to the 2020-21 National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) All-American team in track field athletes Rebekah Baur and Jared Del Real along with softball players Katelyn Dendas and Haley Suter.

The NSCA presents these awards to student-athletes that have accomplishments and dedication to strength and conditioning.  These four were nominated by Humboldt State University’s strength and conditioning coach Drew Petersen.

"Strength is the foundation of athleticism and performance,” said Petersen.  “Our athletes spend a great deal of time working on this foundation in the weight room. The NSCA recognizes their efforts with the annual All America Strength and Conditioning Awards."

Since the inception of the NSCA All-American Awards, 114 Lumberjack student-athletes have received this honor with the first recipients being in 1991 with Jason White (football), Reggie Bolton (football) and Lynell Stokes (women’s basketball).
