Forty Members of Humboldt State University’s Faculty/Staff Recognized by Lumberjack Student-Athletes
The whole month of April, Humboldt State University Lumberjacks’ student-athletes recognized forty of their professors in appreciation of their hard work and dedication they show their students. This was in conjunction with National Student-Athlete Day which is April 6th every year.
“This is one of my favorite events that we do!,” said Humboldt State Assistant Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator Kelly Kime, “With COVID cancelling all of our events, we were unable to hold our Annual Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night. We felt it was important, now more than ever, to recognize the faculty and staff who have continued to provide an exceptional learning experience for our students through these challenging times. The time, dedication, commitment, and hard work has not gone unnoticed. We wanted to continue to share the impact professors have in the lives of our students, especially our student-athletes. This is a small way for us to say thank you to the faculty and staff for everything that they do for our student-athletes.”
