Dear Colleagues,

After 2 years at Humboldt State University, David Montoya, Associate VP for Human Resources, has announced his departure. His last day in the office is today.  I am appreciative of David’s commitment to serve our campus, relentless work ethic, and steady leadership. Under David’s leadership, the HR team has been able to make progress in key areas I would like to highlight:

• Implemented the Early Exit Program (EEP)

• Enhanced professional development annual calendar

• Implemented a new Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

 While I am sorry to see David leave, I wish him well in his next career journey and wish nothing but the best for him and his wife, Nora.
