Fall 2014 ITS Project Prioritization Results
The ITS Project Prioritization cycle for Fall 2014 has been completed and the results communicated to the proposers. The Steering Committee received a total of 18 project proposals, of which seven were recommended to, and approved by, the Vice Presidents; a further eight were identified as requiring additional work, and three were not approved due to resource limitations. Each proposal was reviewed and scored using the rubric developed specifically for this purpose, and staff resource requirements assessed by ITS, in order to determine the final selection.
Details of the approved projects and their proposed schedules can be found in the document entitled Description and timing of scheduled projects at http://www2.humboldt.edu/its/po-Fall-2014-results, as well as a graph showing the scores and rankings for all submitted proposals. You can view the detailed scoring for each project by going to http://www.humboldt.edu/its/projects/all and clicking on the appropriate project name on the Proposed tab.
If you have any ideas for IT-related improvements, regardless of whether those ideas are (yet) ready to be submitted as project requests, please feel free to discuss those ideas with the ITS Project Office at any time.
Look for the next call for project proposals in February 2015.
