Humboldt State has retained the services of Double L Consulting to assist with the recruitment of the next Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. In addition, Jill Willson will step in as Interim Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. Her service will begin today, June 1, 2021.

“We are grateful for Jill’s willingness to provide continuity and support during such a critical time,” said Humboldt State University’s Chief of Staff Sherie C. Gordon. 

Double L Consulting is nationally known for its work in NCAA Division II Intercollegiate Athletics. Willson, who is the firm’s president, will assist with the recruitment  for a permanent athletic director.

 As president of Double L Consulting, Willson works nationally with NCAA Division II Intercollegiate Athletics, with a focus on community engagement and game environment.  She works for the NCAA Division II Membership Committee, assisting schools that are making a transition from NAIA or NCAA Division III to NCAA Division II.  She works closely with the NCAA Governance Group and the NCAA Division II Festival Team, and previously served on the NCAA Division II Management Council.
