Director of Financial Services Candidate: Open Forum

Another candidate has been selected for on-campus interviews for the Director of Financial Services position. Open Forum for any staff, faculty and students interested are invited to meet the candidate in the Student Business Services (SBS 405) building.

Wednesday, June 11 (11:00am – 12:00pm): Nita Wracker, CPA

Nita Wracker is a graduate of California State University, Chico, with a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Accountancy. She is a Certified Public Accountant with over 18 years of private sector, public and governmental accounting background. Auditing experience includes two small regional accounting firms with private sector, governmental, non-profits, not-for-profits and special districts.  Administration, management, and preparation of all aspects of Audits, Reviews and Compilations in accordance with GAAP, GASB, FASB and agreed upon procedures.

Her current position is Administrative Manager for North Tahoe Fire Protection District, Tahoe City, CA since 2008. A few of her responsibilities include administering day to day accounting functions including Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, bi-weekly payroll, monthly financial reports, quarterly payroll returns; drafting financial statements and reports and assisting in annual audit and reporting to the State Controller’s Office, as well as administering management of all grant awards. Some of her other positions held include Audit Manager for McClintock Accountancy, Accounting Manager for The French Laundry,  Controller for Tahoe Truckee Disposal Company, and Senior Accountant for Freeman & Williams, LLP.
