Cybersecurity Awareness Month Wrap-Up & Prize Winners

November 7, 2025

Thank you to everyone who joined Cal Poly Humboldt’s Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2025 and embraced this year’s theme, “Empowering You to Secure 2025 and Beyond.”

Throughout October, our community came together to strengthen awareness, learn practical security habits, and engage in short, interactive challenges designed around real campus systems.

Feedback from across the campus has been overwhelmingly positive:

- “The short challenges made me realize how easy it is to spot fake links once you know what to look for.”

- “I didn’t know denying a Duo request helps report suspicious activity—great tip!”

- “These were actually fun and made cybersecurity feel approachable.”

These responses show a growing confidence and commitment to digital safety across Humboldt. Thank you for helping foster a culture where cybersecurity is part of our everyday actions.
