Cybersecurity Awareness Month – Defend Your Accounts
As part of “Empowering You to Secure 2025 and Beyond,” this week emphasizes protecting your personal accounts. While Cal Poly Humboldt accounts already require multi-factor authentication (MFA), attackers often target personal accounts first, then use that access to attempt entry into campus systems.
Recommended Action:
Choose one important non-Humboldt account (e.g., Gmail, Amazon, Instagram, or your bank).
Enable MFA or set up passkeys if available.
Log your action in this Google Form for a chance to win a coffee card.
